Professor Patrick Treacy is an Irish physician, author and international medical lecturer working in dermatology, aesthetic and regenerative medicine. As Medical Director of Ailesbury Clinics in Dublin and Cork, he has trained more than 10,000 doctors and nurses worldwide through clinical training programmes and international conference workshops.
He is a Visiting Professor of Dermatology at Isra University, Pakistan, and an Honorary Fellow of the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery. He has served in international advisory, educational and editorial roles and is a Key Opinion Leader for the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) in the United Kingdom. Professor Treacy is the author of 14 books and more than 150 published works across peer-reviewed journals, medical publications and international conference proceedings. His principal areas of professional interest include patient safety in aesthetic medicine, the prevention and management of vascular complications, regenerative medicine, platelet-rich plasma, photobiomodulation, artificial intelligence in aesthetic medicine and the biology of ageing.
He has lectured extensively at international medical congresses including IMCAS, CBAM, FADS and MEIDAM, presenting and chairing sessions covering regenerative medicine, vascular occlusion, injectable complications, peptides and emerging technologies in aesthetic medicine. His professional recognition includes multiple international awards for contributions to aesthetic and regenerative medicine. Beyond clinical and academic medicine, Professor Treacy has participated in humanitarian medical work internationally, including projects associated with Haiti, Liberia and Africa. He also supports initiatives providing medical and aesthetic rehabilitation to people affected by conflict and trauma. A frequent media contributor, he has appeared on BBC World Service, RTÉ and TV3/Virgin Media, discussing medicine, aesthetics, patient safety and emerging healthcare technologies for both professional and public audiences. Professor Treacy provides evidence-based lectures, keynote presentations and educational programmes for academic, medical and public audiences worldwide.
